As a key member of our team, you will contribute to creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for our customers during weekend operations.

Details:

• $18/hr
• Approximately 20-25 hrs per week
• Schedule: Friday 4-10:30p, Saturday 11a-7:30p or Saturday 3-11:30p, Sunday 12p-8:30p)
• Scheduling Requests: Maximum of 2 days off requested per month. Maximum of one full week off every three months.
• Upward mobility available for motivated individuals

Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Welcome and greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor. Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for everyone visiting the roller rink.  MUST BE ABLE TO ENGAGE ALL CUSTOMERS WITH A SMILE AND A WELCOMING DEMEANOR.
• Assistance and Support: Assist customers with skate rentals, fitting, and basic skating instructions, especially for beginners and children.
• Safety Supervision: Maintain a watchful eye on the rink, ensuring all safety guidelines are followed by skaters and enforcing any necessary rules.
• Facility Maintenance: Help maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the restrooms, trash, roller rink area, and all around our 2-acre facility.
• Production: Setup party areas, sound, lights, backdrops and general production to be ready for each day’s events.

Requirements:

• Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Must have a warm and approachable personality with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Kid-Friendly Attitude: Possess a natural affinity for kids and the ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for children of all ages.
• Roller Skating Proficiency: Proficient roller-skating skills are required.  Must be able to be on skates for several hours per shift if required.
• Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) 
• Responsible and Reliable: Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
• Physical Endurance: Ability to stand for extended periods and participate in physical activities associated with roller rink operations including lifting as much as 50lbs. 
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: 4hrs In-person (6060 Federal Blvd.) / 16 hrs remote
Hours: Monday 12-4p on-site + Tu-Fr 4 hours per day remote

We’re looking for a highly organized and tech-savvy Executive Assistant to support the owner of Ringer’s Roller Rink. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing schedules, emails, digital files, and business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Calendar Management: Organize and maintain the owner’s schedule, ensuring efficient time management.
• Email Management: Handle and organize emails, draft responses, and manage inbox priorities.
• Digital File Organization: Maintain and organize business documents for easy access.
• Time Management: Set reminders, optimize daily workflow, and assist in prioritization.
• Drafting Proposals: Prepare professional proposals for partnerships, sponsorships, or event collaborations.
• Paying Invoices: Manage and track payments for vendors, staff, and business expenses.
• Event Support: Occasionally assist with event planning, vendor coordination, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as an Executive or Administrative Assistant.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive), project management tools, CRM, and invoicing platforms.
• Experience drafting business proposals or contracts.
• Ability to work independently and proactively problem-solve.

Job Title: Social Media Manager

Job Summary: Ringer’s Roller Rink, an outdoor skating and events facility, is looking for a creative and organized Social Media Manager to grow our online presence and engage our community. The ideal candidate will develop fun and engaging content, interact with our audience, and showcase all the excitement happening at the rink. This role requires strong content creation skills, strategic planning, and the ability to manage a consistent posting schedule that aligns with our brand and marketing goals.

Details:

• $20/hr – growth opportunities to full time, salary, vacation
• 10 hrs per week to start
• Schedule: Monday 12p in-person weekly meeting, all others are flexible hours, some weekends for content capture

Responsibilities:

• Create, schedule, and manage a strategic social media posting calendar for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Develop engaging content, including photos, videos, and captions, that reflect the energy and community of the rink.
• Capture and edit photo and video content at events, public sessions, and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to build a strong online community.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote special events, promotions, and partnerships.
• Track and analyze performance metrics to refine strategy and increase engagement.
• Stay up to date on social media trends and adjust content strategy as needed.

Job Title: Field Trip Educator

Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Field Trip Educators to lead our STEM field trip programs. As a Field Trip Educator, you will facilitate interactive lessons that demonstrate how science, technology, engineering, and math concepts apply to roller skating and everyday life. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education and capable of engaging students in a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Facilitation: Lead 60-90 minute hands-on STEM lessons for K-8 students, ensuring content aligns with Next Generation Science Standards.
• Student Engagement: Create an inclusive and stimulating atmosphere that encourages student participation and curiosity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Rink Manager and other staff to coordinate field trip activities and schedules.
• Preparation and Setup: Organize and prepare materials and equipment necessary for each lesson.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience teaching or facilitating educational programs for children.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:  Ringer’s Roller Rink, an outdoor skating and events facility, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will keep our facility safe, tidy, and in top working order for our daily guests. You’ll use a variety of skills to maintain the property and ensure it’s always ready for guests and events.

Details:

• $18/hr
• Approximately 20 hrs per week
• Schedule: Monday 9a-5:30p, Friday 9a-5:30p, Saturday 8a-12p

Responsibilities:

• Communicate daily with facility management about maintenance issues and concerns.
• Perform minor repairs (e.g., replace door handles, patch damaged walls, etc.).
• Maintain the grounds: landscape trimming, street frontage upkeep, trash cleanup.
• Perform necessary cleaning activities: sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, trash removal.
• Provide general maintenance to our buildings and floor surfaces, including patching, painting, and hardware repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and facility maintenance as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (50 lbs+).
• Experience with general handy work and repair tasks.
• A proactive approach to maintaining safety and cleanliness.
